PASSIVE TERRORISM EXTENSION
(Available subject to a loading of 40% on full premium)

This extension provides cover to the Insured/Insured persons for Benefits provided under this policy following an act of Terrorism/Terrorist Activity where the Insured/Insured persons is/are not directly participating in such Terrorist Activity.

SPECIAL CONDITONS

Emergency medical and related expenses

All medical expenses must be approved by Europ Assistance at the time they are incurred. If not so approved reimbursement will be limited to a maximum any one illness or injury of Rs. 10,000.
Emergency optical and dental charges shall be limited to Rs. 2,000 other than for treatment following injury caused by accidental, external, visible and violent means.
Age restriction: 75 years and over.
All dependent children under 18 years share the cover of one adult free of charge.

Baggage/money and documents

In the event of a baggage, money or documents claim you shall give immediate written notice to:

original purchase receipts regarding goods purchased during your journey
original and certified copies of valuation certificates of your jewellery.
Repairs and replacement costs of a pair of prescribed glasses or contact lenses are limited to Rs. 1,000.

Note: Baggage and personal effects claims are only settled upon return.

MAIN EXCLUSIONS

Emergency medical and related expenses

Manual work in connection with a business or trade.
Costs associated with treatment you currently receive or that your medical advisers are aware will arise during your journey as a result of your current state of health..
Expenses incurred by you travelling abroad for the purpose of seeking medical treatment.
Any medical expenses incurred due to investigatory treatment.
Any expenses incurred in connection with cardiac and/or cardio vascular and/or vascular and/or cerebro vascular illness or for sequelae thereof or complications that in the opinion of a medical practitioner appointed by Europ Assistance can reasonably be related thereto for persons 70 years and older.
The first Rs. 500 of each and every claim.

Baggage/money and documents

Single articles with a value exceeding Rs. 6,000.
Damage to suitcases.
Portable telephones, personal digital assistance, laptop and video cameras.
The first 5% of each and every claim subject to a minimum of Rs. 500.

General exception

War and kindred risks inclusive of terrorism.
